I Am in Control of Myself Readers

I Am in Control of Myself, available through Kurtz Bros., is a set of engaging books designed to help students build positive behavior and social skills. The series features stories from the perspectives of diverse children, enabling young readers to learn about emotions, relationships, and social interactions. Topics covered include impulse control, mood management, patience, and other important aspects of self-regulation.

Each book includes teaching tips on the inside front cover to facilitate meaningful discussions about behavior, while helping students build reading skills in line with Common Core Standards.
